The Asheville Rowing Club Learn To Row teaches the fundamentals of rowing, boat-handling skills, rowing terminology and safety to the beginning rower. Several classes will be offered, beginning in March 2008. After completing the course, we invite you to become a regular member of the club and continue rowing in our novice program, where you may row recreationally or competitively.

Eligibility

Participants must be able to swim, and should be in good physical condition. The participant must also sign a liability waiver form. If the participant is under 18 years of age, the waiver form must be signed by a legal parent or guardian.

THE NEXT LEARN TO ROW COURSE Starts May 3, 2008

This session will be a 6 class course on Saturday's and Sunday's, from 10 AM to Noon.

Fees

The course fee is $100, payable to the Asheville Rowing Club. If, after completing the course, you decide to become a regular member of the club, $50 of your class fee is applied to your membership dues.

Cancellation and Refunds

Refunds are possible if the club is advised two weeks prior to the first class session.
